The harbour of Rotterdam has been completely repaired from the war damage. On the occasion of this fact an exhibition is organized in the Ahoy hall. The minister of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, mr. D.G.W. Spitzen, takes a look in the harbour and at the construction of the exhibition. SHOTS: - Harbour of Rotterdam right after the war with a chaos of destroyed harbour installations, shears and a ships hull; - harbour of Rotterdam in repaired state: ships lie moored and are being loaded and unloaded; shears, transhipment installations and elevators busy at work; tugs and inland vessels sail by; - several shots of Spitzen and company: they look at the harbour from a saloon boat and take a tour of the exhibition to be; - at the Ahoy hall are lorries with paving bricks and sand; paviours at work; elsewhere on the construction site other building activities take place; - int.
